Why does homeopathy continually fail double blind clinical trials??

Answers: Being a doctor (Homoeopathic) I CAN'T agree with you at all. HOMOEOPATHY doesn't fail, the DOCTORS fail. they fail to prescribe the correct medicines and ultimately due to their foolishness Homoeopathy suffers.

Homoeopathy is neither 'placebo effect', nor is it 'quack practice.' It is a proven science. If it were hoax or quack, it could not have survived the long era of time. the MASTERS of Homoeopathy, almost all of them used to be allopathic physicians. Why do you think they changed their mode of treatment from allopathy to homoeopathy? Answer this you fools.

On emore thing I would like to add... the medicines are NOT DILUTIONS. they are NOT diluted. They are converted into higher potencies by two DYNAMIC processes called 'Succussion' (for liquid medium) and 'Trituration' (for solid medium). Simply diluting doesn't make Homoeopathic medicines. Only fools and those who don't know say like this.

Search the internet. You will find answers to your foolishness. Two bottles of alcohol are placed. One simply diluted. and the other succussed for 100 200 300 or more times. The energy level of the succussed alcohol is way higher than the normal alcohol.

Homoeopathic medicines of higher potencies DOES NOT have quantitative value of the medicinal substance. It has qualitative value. GREAT qualitative value.

A disease is a quality. It is an energy. It is not a quantity. So, quality is which is required to cure a disease, not quantity.

For example, malaria is not created by a number of Plasmodium; it is created by the quality that the Plasmodium possess. You can remove malaria either by killing the Plasmodium, or by making the surrounding environment of the Plasmodium in the human body adverse to the likings of Plasmodium. Homoeopathy follows the second option.

Tell me Morten do you have any pets? Do you know you
can successfully treat your dogs and cats. There placebo
effect cannot take place. You do not need stupid double blind
clinical trials at all. There is lot of commerce involved in
putting homeopathy down. Actually I AM STUPID to give you this answer because i have seen it work hundreds of time on
myself and others. What is required is correct diagnosis and
those who are good at it do not bother to convince
skeptics like you and others on this site but i do because i
do not want new to homeopathy be
influenced and carried away by guys like you and other
trolls on this site. Anyway have a good day and good luck.
Cheers! :o)

Addition: You are new to this forum and recently joined with
only 15 points to your credit. I just hope you are not KALOS
in disguise.
Please give references to the trials to which you are referring.

A headline from the SF Chronicle last week Bias Found in Drug Trial Reports - Makers of antidepressents often don't pulbish less-than-positive results, new study says. So much for clinical trials .
I have found extraordinary results with a combination of homeopathy and traditional ingredients from a very reputable wellness company. Most of the products are patented, which means they did have to prove the results.
Morten...don't you get tired of beating up on Homeopathy? To prove to me that you do not work for the biased FDA or you are not a complete moron please list the failed studies and where I can read them. Maybe even throw some favorable studies if you dare.
It's because these remedies are bought over the counter without the advice of an experienced homeopath. A homeopath studies the patient and treats the symptoms.

Convention medication often fails to work and the side effects can be horrific. A homeopath will try a remedy which may fail to give results, however they persist and eventually find a remedy that works.
1st - I'm with Old Cat Lady - show me the links to the failed double blinds?

2nd as apbangal. . . said, you can't double blind the practitioner's influence, or the complete honesty of the patient either. A double blind of homeopathy can still be manipulated to produce a desired outcome by choice of practitioner and remedies. Homeopathy isn't a symptom=drug type procedure, so doesn't lend itself to double blind. Homeopathy's effectiveness is best determined by its successes, of which it has many. Being highly dependent on very specific, thorough diagnosis and cure, it is too individualistic to do a mass test.

Now, if someone wanted to spend the money, they could follow a selection of respected homeopaths and document their successes and failures to see their effectiveness ratio. That may be the only valid info you can get. And even that would only be relative to each practitioners expertise.

3rd - I get the most outrageous laugh every time someone mentions the placebo effect!!! It is the most unscientific explanation the scientific community has produced to date! If the placebo effect is just, then how does a cat or dog who is cured play into that? They have no faith, so can't apply it to a medicine.
Because it only works by placebo effect and that is unreliable and doesn't actually represent a 'cure' from any disease/disorder.
its all down to the positions of saturn in line with jupiter
Well if you dilute something to the extent that you are trying to find a needle in a haystack...the odds of it working are very slim! Money could be better spend on finding real cures!
Because it's modern day snake oil and doesn't really work.
It is an inherently flawed concept. Although I recommend some alternative treatments in my website, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris :- homeopathy is not included.
